Fair Trade Coffee Day in Port Colborne

PCW Chamber of Commerce member Breha Patterson, manager of Studio West Cafe,

joined thousands of people around the globe for
the world’s largest fair trade coffee break on Saturday, May 10 2008.

The international event is held in conjunction with World Fair Trade Day, May 10

Port Information Centre Moving

New centre will be located in historic Humberstone Community Hall

Port Colborne-Wainfleet Chamber of Commerce office manager Edith Wagner,
Port Colborne Economic and Tourism Development Corporation manager Stephen Thompson
and chamber president Donna Martens Gamm display some of
the many pamphlets, information packages and brochures that will available when Port Colborne’s
visitor information centre moves intothe Humberstone Community Hall on Main Street.
The intent is to have a year round visitor information centre.  As well as pamphlets, brochures

and other information, a schedule outlining boats that will pass through the Welland Canal will also be available .
